SODEICO, a company specializing in recruitment and outsourcing qualified personnel is
recruiting “ Communication Manager” who will have the role to support the enterprise's research and capacity building efforts to extend awareness and adoption of locally relevant approaches through continuous online engagement and to provide on-demand access to resources created through the programme. The final aim is to forge a community of practice around AGYW's economic empowerment, support the adoption of improved policies, programmes and practices to promote the economic empowerment of AGYW, drive uptake of capacity building services amongst the international and national development community in Kinshasa, including through the Physical Hub, and successfully communicate the perspectives of AGYW regarding economic empowerment..  He must be a dynamic, pro-active and ambitious individual. Capable of meeting challenges and achieving predefined objectives. The Communications Manager will rely heavily on input from technical staff as well as actively solicit content from individuals and organizations in the community of practice. The Communication Manager will work closely with the other team members and partners. The Communication Manager will also collaborate closely with the Girl Led Research Unit and, through both the physical and the virtual hub, will engage with the local, national and international development community in Kinshasa.

Poste et missions

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES
The Communication Manager will be responsible for :
•Contributing to the programme's communication strategy and ensuring it responds to stakeholders needs;
•Implementing the Physical and the Virtual Hub strategy and processes created in collaboration with a Communication Consultant;
•Designing quality deliverables across the program, responding to audience's needs and drawn from research key findings and capacity building lessons learned;
•Ensuring content management of the Virtual Hub (eNewsletter, dissemination of key reports and other deliverables, etc.) 
•Coordinating research's dissemination plans and implementation (from key findings writing to events organization) 
•Facilitating the organization of successful communities of practice (managing the email database, 
•Identifying opportunities and coordinating efforts to drive online engagement with offline activities and vice versa
•Monitoring of communication activities (Tracking metrics, identifying trends, co-facilitating focus groups), drawing lessons learned and applying learning to future activities.

Profil et compétences requises

BASIC SKILLS
•Professional experience in developing deliverables based on research
•Strong capabilities in networking, communication, advocacy, in-depth knowledge of international and national CSO actors
•Ability to work in team and under pressure
•Experience with DFID processes in terms of digital activities
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
•Advanced university degree in the social/behavioral sciences (Sociology, Psychology, Communications), or any other related field
•Five years of experience and background in communications, social mobilization, behavioral and social change, including in managing web contents

LANGUAGES
- Fluency in French and basic English, both written and spoken is required; advanced English skills are highly desirable. 

COMPUTERS
- Excellent IT skills, Competent to advanced level in Microsoft Excel;
