SODEICO Manpower is recruiting an IT Support for a company evolving in the Port handling sector.
The relevant person must be dynamic, pro-active and ambitious capable of meeting the challenges and achieve predefined objectives. He/ She will have the mission to Provide maintenance of the computer desktop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions. He will be responsible for administration and internal support of the Company's Computers, printers, servers, and related equipment. Tasks include end user support, license tracking, performing PC maintenance, updates and configurations.
The candidate will report to the Information Technology Manager
Poste et missions
Specific duties include:
-Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user's satisfaction
-Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk
-Monitor Service Desk for tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in first-out based on priority
-Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstation
-Utilize and maintain the helpdesk tracking software Document internal procedures
-Assist with on boarding of new users
-Ensure each workstation has a computer, monitor, keyboard, mouse, hard drive, and any additional specialized equipment
-Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software
-Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses
-Report issues to the Service Desk for escalation
-Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images and software
-Assign users and computers to proper groups in Active Directory
-Perform timely workstation hardware and software updates as required
-Strong communications skills, both written and oral;
-Responsive and highly thorough problem solver;
-Works as well both alone as in a team 1.
Profil et compétences requises
Basic Skills and Knowledge
-Bac +5 required, preferably in IT;
-3 years experience in desktop support;
- Team work and Managerial Experience;
-Language skills: French and English;
- Knowledge in IT-
The IT support and helpdesk administrator has to follow also safety standards and security in the company.
-All above specified tasks should take into account the Health, Safety, Security and Environment aspects as from the planning phase.
-The employee should ensure at all time that all interventions and/or works are performed in accordance
-Works on DAY or NIGHT shift-
